Formerly of Google and Meta, Tiffany Knearem is a User Experience Researcher who holds a PhD in Information Sciences and Technology from Pennsylvania State University. Her recent publications span topics of human-AI alignment, AI-supported design workflows, and community informatics. She was recently featured in ACM’s Interactions Magazine and is a regular speaker at ACM conferences.
Abstract
The expansion of AI to the civic realm promises to enhance local community. We discuss perspectives on AI for community engagement, including opportunities and challenges as we navigate this paradigm shift towards increasing automation.
