Clara Kliman-Silver is a Staff UX Researcher at Google, where she leads a research team focused on design tools, designer-developer collaboration, and the emergent role of artificial intelligence in the design process. Her research interests lie in computer-supported cooperative work, the role of AI in productivity tools, and enterprise technologies. Before Google, she worked as a UX designer and researcher in the enterprise healthcare and AI developer tools spaces. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Brown University.
Abstract
AI is seemingly everywhere, and it’s begun to shape how UX designer’s work. But what impact does it have? How should we think about AI as a collaborator or creative partner? This talk explores the emergent role of AI in the UX and product development processes, as well as the attitudes of practitioners towards novel AI-powered tools and technologies.
